A.F. Braun

Annemarie Braun studied at Leiden University (civil law) and has been working as a lawyer at ScheerSanders since 2003. Initially, she practised general civil law, but gradually focused more on family law.  In 2010, Annemarie completed the legal specialisation course of the Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators (www.vfas.nl). Since then, she focuses entirely on handling family law matters.

Annemarie advises and litigates on a wide range of issues. Often in divorce cases, but also in for example  child protection cases (supervision orders, care orders, termination of parental responsibility), parentage matters (acknowledgment, adoption, legal determination and denial of paternity and nullification of the acknowledgment) and disputes regarding parental responsibility. In these cases international aspects often play a role, which is why she also developed the required expertise in this field. In 2013 Annemarie qualified as a divorce mediator and therefore also represents clients as a mediator.

Annemarie shows great commitment towards her clients. She considers it a challenge to give her clients insight in complex legal matters and to advise them in an understandable manner about the possible solutions. Annemarie works thoroughly and always keeps a close eye on the interests of her clients.
