C.E. Huitema

Cornélie Huitema studied Dutch law at Leiden University (civil law). After graduating, Cornélie worked at a medium-sized firm in Rotterdam where she dealt with (international) trade disputes and general contract law.


Since January 2015, Cornélie is an associate at ScheerSanders where she deals with a wide range of civil matters. She handles cases in relation to (international) trade disputes and commercial contract law, including agency agreements and liability issues in the broadest sense. Her special interest lies with civil litigation law, including seizure and execution law as well as debt collection, both nationally and internationally.


In addition, Cornélie also deals with personal injury matters, in particular where personal injury is the result of an accident at home or in the work place, or in traffic. She provides her clients with tailor-made advice and, where necessary, also represents them in legal proceedings.


Cornélie prefers a pragmatic approach and is a committed and tenacious lawyer. She speaks English fluently.
