Mr. P. Rijpstra

Peter Rijpstra graduated in 1979 from the University of Leiden. In 1980 he started as a lawyer with one of the founders of the current ScheerSanders Advocaten.

Peter has been providing assistance to companies for many years, ranging from sole traders to companies of international size. Much of his work is in the field of corporate matters, such as commercial contracts, collections in the Netherlands and abroad, matters of shareholders and directors and disputes in partnerships.

He also does business in the civil real estate practice. His field of work includes issues of lease of business space, purchase/sale of real estate and Owners' Association issues, as well as handling property disputes.

He completed the specialist training (Grotius) real estate and is a member of the Association of Real Estate Lawyers (REL).

Peter holds the position of secretary of the Disputes Council of the Royal Dutch Association of Accountants (RDAA). He is a deputy member of the Council of Discipline (the disciplinary body for lawyers) and committee member of The Disputes Committee.

Peter has previously registered real estate law as his main area of law in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar, but is currently registered in the area general practice/civil law. On the basis of this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training points each calendar year in the registered main legal area in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.

As Rechtsanwalt, Peter is tätig in Bereichen wie schäftliche Vertragsstreitigkeiten, Gesellschaften und deren Auseinandersetzung, Immobilien, Vollstreckung von ausländischen Gerichtsurteilen. There is German language.

As a lawyer Peter regularly deals with international matters such as contractual business cases, partnership agreements and their termination, real estate and property matters and the execution of foreign judgements. He is fluent in English.
