Mr. P. Rijpstra
Peter Rijpstra graduated from the University of Leiden in 1979. In 1980 he started as a lawyer at one of the founders of the current ScheerSanders Advocaten.
Peter has been providing assistance to companies for many years, varying from sole traders to international companies. Much of his work focuses on corporate affairs, such as commercial contracts, employment issues, national and international debt collection, shareholders’ and directors’ matters and joint ventures disputes.
In addition, he also handles cases regarding civil real estate. This includes but is not limited to leasing business premises, buying/selling business and private property as well as handling ownership disputes.
He completed the specialisation course (Grotius) real estate and is a member of the Association of Property Lawyers (VVJ).
Peter also holds the position of secretary of the Council for Disputes of the Royal Dutch Organization of Accountants (NBA) he is deputy member of the Board of Discipline (the disciplinary body for lawyers) and board member of the Dutch Foundation for Consumer Complaints Boards (De Geschillen Commissie).
As a lawyer Peter regularly deals with international matters such as contractual business cases, partnership agreements and their termination, real estate and property matters and the execution of foreign judgements. Peter is fluent in English.
Als Rechtsanwalt ist Peter tätig in Bereichen wie geschäftliche Vertragsstreitigkeiten, Gesellschaften und deren Auseinandersetzung, Immobilien, Vollstreckung von ausländischen Gerichtsurteilen. Er ist deutschsprachig.
